My Bucket List

Ever think to yourself, “One day I would love to do that”? I do. All the time.

About a year ago I decided to keep better track of all those exciting goals I was creating for myself. As a twenty-something I often hear individuals from previous generations say things like, “I wish I had [insert goal/interest].” I don’t want this to be me. This is my first step in making that a reality.

The following list is only the beginning and will definitely grow over time. There are items on my bucket list that I’ve already accomplished, however this list is a fresh start as of August 2010. I’ll keep track of those in progress and accomplished as time progresses. Bolded items are the ones I’m most excited about.

1. Learn to surf (Actually, more like become a surfer girl)

2. Sky diving

3. Own a sports car

4. Race a sports car (legally!)

5. Take self-defense classes

6. Go to a shooting range

7. Get into Yoga

8. Take belly dancing classes (in process!)

9. Learn to meditate (Eat, Pray, Love inspired admittedly)

10. Run a 5K (Completed 12/12/2010!) – a half marathon – a marathon

12. Become conversational in Spanish

13. Start a travel program for girls

14. Live abroad for over a year

15. Speak in front of over 500 people – 1000 people - 2000 people

I think I'm too anxiety-ridden and paranoid for a bucket list like yours! It's thoroughly impressive! Danger is not my middle name.

I haven't even thought about it, because I've been so hung up on school and getting a job that it doesn't feel like there's time to accomplish anything else. But you know what? I'll think about it and make that my next blog post!

Very inspiring! Good luck with all of them!
